This program was designed to supplement, enrich, and strengthen the homeschooler’s educational experience. Though parents remain the primary instructor, this program provides a full day of classes, once a week, that offer a wide variety of subjects designed to assist and/or complement each student’s learning experience. Additionally, they operate through Aurora Public Schools, and families participating in this program may select from a large variety of curriculum, (which they check out), or they may use a curriculum of their own choosing.

The Lewis-Palmer HomeSchool Enrichment Academy (HSEA) is a program designed to support families of home schooled students in kindergarten through 8th grade. Children in grades K-5 receive a full array of Enrichment activities to include Music, Art, PE, and exploratory activities in science, literature, geography, and history. Students in grades 6-8 can choose from several elective offerings in those subjects and more. HSEA provides all the necessary materials and equipment. The Lewis-Palmer Homeschool Enrichment Academy is offered at no cost to enrolled families, made possible by educational funds received from the state of Colorado.

Mountain Vista Home School Academy, MVHSA, is a one-day per week enrichment program that is free for home schooling families in the Pikes Peak region. Children in grades 1-12 attend classes with other home schooled students one day per week. Classes include Art, Math, Technology, Science, Language Arts, and History, and include recesses and lunch. MVHSA partners with the Colorado Springs Conservatory (CSC) to offer 2 to 4 hours of CSC classes also at no cost to families. The following clubs are offered throughout the school year: Fencing, Kung Fu, Yearbook, and Drama with Birgitta DePree of the Manitou Arts Theater. A variety of field trips are scheduled, including visits to Chico Basin Ranch, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Academy of Childrens' Theater Plays and many more.

Two Roads Charter School is a highly sought after program providing rigorous academics addressing the unique educational needs of traditional and homeschooled students; all students are empowered to develop confidence, define their future and achieve their highest potential.

The APEX Program, sponsored by the St. Vrain Valley School District, is open to students in grades K through 12, and is designed to support parents who choose to educate their children at home. Parents remain the primary instructional provider, with the school supplementing and complementing their efforts. The APEX program has its roots in the Options program, founded and created by Dr. Tom Synnott under the Aurora Public School District. Families participating in APEX receive instruction and most educational materials at no cost. This is possible because, as a public school, APEX receives a portion of the Per Pupil Operating Revenue (PPOR) distributed at the state level for each enrolled student. This money is used to pay salaries, to purchase textbooks and curriculum, pay site rental and other costs associated with running the program.

Academy Charter School offers a support program for homeschool families. This is a publicly funded school program that provides instruction in one or more subjects. It operates in Douglas County, and classes meet in Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, and Parker.

Colorado Cyber, is a statewide K-12 cyber school program that is offered by Douglas County School District to any student who resides in Colorado. Colorado Cyber uses Lincoln Interactive and Aventa, two of the nation’s leading online curriculum used by thousands of students across the country, which is a high-tech, high-touch comprehensive learning package that offers flexible, dynamic and adventurous learning opportunities for students.

The mission of the Home School Academy is to support and assist homeschooling families in their chosen role as the primary educator of their children. They provide an enriched and extended curriculum that will complement the core instruction provided by homeschooling educators, homeschooling families access to additional resources that will supplement home school instruction. Homeschooling families have a connection to the public school setting, but they do not offer a full array of education services including special education services.

Denver Online High School (DOHS) is a Denver Public Schools (DPS) high school that supports motivated 9-12 grade students in graduating quickly by providing highly flexible online learning. Courses are available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year – with extra help from teachers online, on the phone, or at our learning center. Their rigorous courses are recognized by Denver Public Schools and in-state and out-of-state universities. As a member of DOHS, students may also take classes at their local community college, at The Fred N. Thomas C E C Middle College of Denver, or at any other DPS school that may have an opening. Full-time DOHS students earn a traditional high school diploma and have access to Advanced Placement courses and tuition-free college courses. DPS students also have access to scholarships, concurrent enrollment opportunities, and a variety of school choice programs. Denver Online students are also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities for high school credit, including service learning, part-time work, travel, sports, the arts, and other activities outside of school.

The WWA Home School Connection Fine Arts and Enrichment Program is designed to enhance the solid learning students are receiving at home, not replace it. Serving students in Kindergarten through 6th grades, WWA’s Home School Connection supports your homeschooling efforts with a wide variety of fun, yet educational, classes. They offer a fine arts and enrichment program including Performing Arts, Music, Art, Creative Writing, hands-on science, PE, and more. Class sizes are small to create a low student to teacher ratio.
