Concerned Parents of Colorado (CPCO) was formed in 1987 for the express purpose of writing and helping to pass homeschool legislation. With the enactment of SB 56 in 1988, CPCO has continued to monitor the legislature for the homeschooling community. CPCO helps to maintain a strong homeschool lobby and presence at the state capitol, the Governor’s office, and with school organizations around the state. CPCO works on the local, state, and federal levels to ensure homeschool freedoms and provides legislative assistance and training to other states upon request. CPCO provides legislative and homeschool information to state organizations, individuals, and support groups throughout Colorado.

Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC), is a non-profit, Christian organization, dedicated to providing information, resources and leadership to all families involved in home-centered education.
